Kobato – Episode 2

Summary Coming Soon… Hopefully

Review

Started typing it and then decided I was too tired…. will try and get this done after my exam tomorrow. If you are really after a quick review however, feel free to read it in temporary point form:

  • Graphics were overall impressive and if anything, I would watch the series for the graphical work which is really impressive. Only problem is that some of the backgrounds seem bland and overused.
  • Music is still good.
  • Storyline isn’t excellent however is at the moment good enough to get through the storyline. Seems a bit like Shugo Chara in the first few episodes.
  • Character Development seems to be of real importance for this story however it seems like we will see a new character every week that may or may not be a one-time character… Also, I hope we learn more about Kobato since we don’t really know much about the character we are supposed to be following.

Not bad for a review. I guess this will have similar pacing like Shugo Chara! where the main heroine saves a random person on each episode while progressing to the story very slowly. I don’t find these episodes bothering to me since I encountered this before.

I think this show is not going to be a good blogging material for me since this series is episodic which provides us lesser detail for the story progression. I might end up the same review as yours.

However, I really like heart warming fillers. It’s good way to unwind from other serious shows that I picked up this fall. Not to mention, I’m currently viewing 21 different titles this season.
