I thought it might be a good idea to label all the anime I am watching and to give a brief overview of each series. This should at least bring you up to speed with the overview when you decide to read my posts. Please use Ctrl+F to find the item you are after.

.hack//Roots

The latest in the .hack series. This one focuses on the events of .hack//GU which takes place in a whole different The World after a fire supposedly destroyed the last headquarters of C.C Corp.

Asatte no Houkou

This is about a girl called Karada who wants to be bigger and Shouko who is a tall woman. Since both of them are envious of each other, one day while praying at the local temple, they end up switching body sizes. This demonstrates the hardships they have with their new bodies.

Devil May Cry

This is the anime of the very popular Play Station series by the same name. It follows the events of the games narrated by Dante.

Doujin Work

Najimi is a girl who is dragged along to one of her friends anime conventions and ends up wanted to make a career out of it, despite her lack of drawing talent and knowledge about Doujins. This anime portraits her and her group of friends and she tries to make it in the big world of doujin making.

El Cazador de la Bruja

Ellie and Nadie are travelling around the countryside to try and unlock Ellis’s unknown past, alongside with many other bounty hunters and a weird man with a video camera.

Hayate no Gotoku

Hayate is a boy who has just has his parents run off from home leaving him with a large debt to pay. What is the consequence toward Hayate for them doing this? Having all his organs sold to generate the money. When all alternatives fail, he finds a girl he plans to kidnap however she is kidnapped before he can do it so he saves her. She makes him her butler and he is now safe.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai

This series starts of where the first season finished, the endless June is still continuing and the group of friends are still causing death and suffering to each other at the end of each month…. will this be the time when they finally break through the cursed June?

Hidamari Sketch

Made by the same producers who made Pani Poni Dash. This is about a group of four girls who go to an art school. As with Pani Poni Dash, this is generally full of randomness.

Hitohira

A poor girl has just been enlisted/forced to join the schools drama club. The only thing is, she is so shy she can barely talk to people properly. So she must now conquer her fear before she starts to perform.

Kamichama Karin

This is about a girl called Karin who posesses a magic ring that allows her to transform into a magical form. She lives with two of her friends, one who is also a ring holder. However she is the target of his brother who is after her ring also. (I think that is it….)

Koharu Biyori

In the future, robots are in charge of doing activities such as cleaning etc. Takaya purchases a robot named Yui however while she wants to be a maid for him, Takaya has other plans for her.

Lucky Star

A very popular anime which is also very random in it, it has very random segments such as Lucky Channel which is quite hillarious. There is no story line to this anime, just a fun watch.

Mahou Sensei Negima

Rating: 8.5/10

This is the original Negima anime, this follows some of the events in the manga, up to the Kyoto arc then it goes in its down direction.

Manabi Straight

Rating: 9/10

This animes focus was to be about schools in the future. Schools in the 2030s are lacking students as many potential students have gone to do other things. This is about five students who decided to run the school council and make school a better place. This is all lead by Manabi, a new girl who seems to have her head in the clouds.

Moetan

Based on the popular “Learn English” book series in Japan. Moetan is about a high school student named Najihara Ink who is madly in love with a boy in her class named Nao. A turn of fortune occurs when she runs into a small duck named Ark and from then on, she becomes a magical girl.

Monster Princess

A young boy named Hiro has the unfortunate chance of saving the life of a lady named Hime. Despite saving her life, he himself ended up dying. He is however resurected by Hime and given immortality… great right… nup, he now has to be her eternal servant or he shall die.

Murder Princess

Princess Arita escapes from her castle when it becomes under siege by unknown entities, she manages to escape only to be saved by a bounty hunter. However they fall off a cliff and they manage to switch forms, so now the princess is a fighter and the bounty hunter is a maid. They must now find a way to reverse this curse.

Nasasarete Airantou

A poor boy falls off a ship and doesnt maange to get back on board. What happens to him? He ends up on an island full of weird girls ranging from a Ninja, an evil Nodoka like person and a girl that can talk to animals. Each episode also has the signature nose bleed in it.

Nanatsuiro Drops

Sumomo is partnered with her friend Masaharu in order to collect 7 special star drops in order to transfer him back from his stuffed animal form to his normal human self.

Negima!?

Rating: 9.5/10

Negima is based on the popular manga and anime series known as Mahou Sensei Negima. This is a comedy anime from the same people that brought you Pani Poni Dash. This is meant to be a family show so it removes a large portion of the fanservice and focuses on magical battles. This jumps straight into when Negi Springfield arrives at Mahora, does the Evangeline Arc and then goes off in its own storyline.

Negima Live Action

Featuring all of the same characters from all the previous animes/manga, this is another addition to the Negima series with a whole new cast. This follows some of the same stories as the manga however a large portion of it goes into new territory. A worthwhile watch for any Negima fan.

Negima! – Spring Special

Rating: 8.5/10

Asuna is annoyed at Negi for once again managing to destroy all her clothes with his power sneeze. However, the day after, Ayaka invites Negi to go to her resort island, unaware that everyone else is there. So Negi and Asuna must now try and get along… however hard the others try however, it only makes it worse.

Negima!? – Summer Special

Rating: 8.5/10

Ayaka has invited everyone to her hot springs, however, Yue has now cast a spell so both Nodoka and Negi are joined by the finger by a red thread. So they must now make the whole day looking like they are holding hands to everyone who does not know about their magic.

Pani Poni Dash

Rating: 9.5/10

The most random anime that has every made anime random. This series follows a young 12 year old teacher Rebecca Miyamoto and her class of both weird and plain people. Spanning over 26 episodes of humour, it is hard to resist. All episodes feature a different storyline and just lets the imagination go wild.

Polyphonica

This is about a place called Polyphonica where spirits are controlled by musical instruments like pianos and harps. This is about a group of people who have command over their own spirits. A bard lovers dream.

Potemayo

Moriyama-kun is sitting in the kitchen by himself eating breakfast when a large bang emits from the fridge. When he goes to look, he finds the creature he has now called Potemayo. This anime issues the comedy of school and how the life of a boy and a weird thing works out.

Princess Maker 5

Rating: 8/10

Princess Maker 5 is a modern day version of the famous Princess Maker series. You basically raise a child from the age of 10 to 18 and then at the end of it, you get one of many endings depending on the choices you made throughout the game.

RomeoXJuliet

Based of William Shakespheres famous play Romeo and Juliet (Which I enjoyed studing by the way), it focus on a Japanese adaptation of it and shows many added extras that would not have been thought of at the time of original production.

Rozen Maiden

Rating: 10/10

Rozen Maiden is about a whole bunch of dolls that are trying to steal each others Rosa Mystica. Jun Sakurada locks himself indoors until he finds himself with a mysterious package, inside a doll named Shinku who comes to life.

Rozen Maiden Ouverture

Rating: 9.5/10

The first OVA for Rozen Maiden, my favourite anime. This is a backstory of when Suingintou first appeared to the other 5 dolls and how she grows to hate Shinku and the others, as well as her fear of being “Junk”

Rozen Maiden Traumend

Rating: 9.5/10

The second series of Rozen Maiden. This unveils the 7th Doll Barasuisho who is proved to be more evil than any other one before. Also shows the Laplace Demon and a weird doll maker.

Seto no Hanayome

Ah… how relaxing a trip to the beach… the sun… the surf… the… Mafia. When a normal family decide to go to the beach for a holiday, they never expected to run into the mafia who is after a mermaid who is infact her daughter. So their trip is full of brawls with the leader angry about their son being with his daughter. (I must double check this)

Stellvia of the Universe

Years and Years ago, the planet was destroyed by a star that became a supernova. The people that survived rebuilt the planet and the spacestations were built, among these are Stellvia. This anime is about Shima Katase who went to the academy and the second wave is approaching in a few months time.

WarioWare – Smooth Moves

Rating: 8/10

A game for the Nintendo Wii, it involves about 100 minigames ranging from 5-15 seconds. Very quickly paced and a good way to test your ability with the numchuck.

Wellber no Monogatari

A war is in the process of production, and only one lady can go and prevent the event that can occur. This is the story of her mission.

Winter Garden

Rating: 3/10

An more serious and teenage version of Digi Charat. Set years and years into their future.

Yougurting

Rating: 9/10

A very good game however it does not recieve the popularity it deserves. Has been released for Korea, Japan and Thai however only the Japanese version remains. An online game based on a school.
